3RD XI SKIPPER SCOTT GILHAM WILL PLAY HIS 200TH GAME FOR WILLIAMSTOWN CRICKET CLUB NEXT ROUND COMMENCING SATURDAY NOVEMBER 22ND. SCOTT PLAYED SEVERAL SEASONS IN THE 1ST & 2ND XI AS A LEFT ARM ORTHODOX SPIN BOWLER AND MIDDLE ORDER BATSMAN. HE HAS COACHED JUNIOR TEAMS FOR MANY SEASONS AS HIS BOYS BRADLEY, JAMES AND JASON PROGRESSED THROUGH THE AGE GROUPS. A CLUB COMMITTEE MEMBER AND PREVIOUS WINNER OF THE "HOOT" GIBSON BEST CLUBMAN WE ALL WISH HIM WELL FOR GAME 200.

Daryl Thiele

After 12 years, Daryl Thiele has retired as VSDCA Secretary at the VSDCA AGM on August 13th, 2008. All at the VSDCA thank Daryl for his outstanding service.
Ken Hilton has been appointed to replace Daryl. Ken has several years experience with VSDCA.
Daryl will not be lost to the Association as he has agreed to run the Under 15 "RM Hatch" Competition; no doubt he will also make himself available to offer advice and guidance to Ken and the Association.
